The Essential Five-Step Ritual
Follow these steps daily for radiant, healthy skin
1
Cleanse
What it does: Removes dirt, Excess oils, sweat and left over products. Clearing your skin creates a fresh base so everything else works better!
TIPS!
- Use lukewarm water
- Massage the skin gently, in circular motions, take around 1/2 mins
- Double cleanse at night
2
Tone
What it does: Restores your skins' natural pH balance, removes any traces of residue and primes skin to absorb serums and moisturisers faster and deeper.
TIPS!
- Apply on wet face to get maximum effect of hydration
- you can apply toner at any time of the day to refresh or rehydrate you makeup too (in a spray bottle)
3
Treat
What it does: Serums and concentrated treatments target specific concerns, working deeper than moisturisers.
TIPS!
- Mornings (Vitamins C) which brightens, even tone, boosts SPF protection.
- Nights (Retinol/ Retinoid) Which smooths fine lines, speeds cell turnover
- All the time (Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide) which draws and holds the moisture, controls oil, calms redness and strengthens the skin barrier
- Apply on slightly damp skin for better absorption
- Wait 1-2 mins before applying the next steps
- Always wear SPF the next day.
4
Moisturize
What it does: Seals in all the previous products, locks in all the water and maintains your skin barrier.
Skin Types:
- Oily skins = Lightweight gel or water-cream formulas
- Dry skins = Rich cream or lotions with shea butter/ceramides
- Sensitive skins = Fragrance- free, hypoallergenic formulas
TIPS!
* Apply on skin which is still slightly damp
* Apply the products with an upwards motion (defying gravity)
5
Protect
What is does: Your most important step! Shields your skin from UVA/UVB rays, pollution and blue light damage. Prevents premature aging, dark spots and reduces the risk of sun damage.
Rule:
- Use SPF 30 or higher, broad-spectrum
- (if possible) reapply every 3/4 hours for maximum protection
TIP!
* Choose a non-comedogenic formula to prevent breakouts
- you don't need SPF at night
